Terribly hot and humid

It’s not even 8 AM, and it’s well into the 80s with 90% humidity. It’s supposed to top 100 today, maybe 110. Now, in this area, we’re just not used to it.

A bit of work done on Tapestry and finished reading Sense and Sensibility. Lots of admin work and an unpleasant situation with a colleague on a project. Thanks, Colin and Mik, for your perspective. I wanted to make sure that my ego didn’t get in the way of what was best for the project, and your insight was helpful.

I had to postpone the start of a new project because, frankly, I don’t think I can take it on right now. I think I will start it the first new moon after Samhain. The other, less new project, will be ready to be spoken about shortly, and will probably launch the first of October.

I’m still fretting because the correct blurb hasn’t gone up for Elusive Prayers. Hopefully, that will happen this weekend, so I can start the marketing campaign.

This has to be a good writing day, because tomorrow I’m at the theatre.

You want to read a great short story? Read “Earthly Ground” by H.D. Dowdell here.
As usual, inefficient Blogger has refused to either let me type in the entire link or to accept it in the link box. So go to the home page, hit "fiction" and click on to her story. It's worth the extra clicks.

Off to the post office and then to do at least six loads of laundry (please don’t let there be a power outage until I’m done).

Think cooling, calming thoughts for me!

Hi Devon, it really is a cold summer here in London. Just wondered also, if by any chance you were writing a book? best wishes,
